114.5 ... NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

 my weight is starting to drive me crazy! i watch what i eat.. i'm usually very good and i'm still not dropping like i had hoped! i worked out at the gym today & did realllyy good.. then i went in the sauna and steam room. i've been cheering but it hasn't really been helping my weight. i have some muscles though & that could be why i'm not dropping as much. i'm still taking the firm and tone vitamins and i think its slowly working & i've been taking fiber vitamins which i like a lot too. i also went tanning today which made me very happy =) soo tommrow is thanksgiving & i've been thinking soooo hard if i want to purge!!! but im so scared to try it! what do you guys think? i need your help! also, do you think laxatives actually work? anyways, goodbye for now.. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

right now, i'm recovering from bulimia, so i do not purge anymore.

as far as you purging... i strongly sugest you don't. honestly, it does not work. what happens when you purge is that you gets rid of the food, but not the calories. your body absorbs calories quickly, so no matter how much food you get up, it won't always prevent a weight gain. also, once you start to purge you will screw up your metabolism in a big way. because your body has no food to digest a lot of the time, it will go into starvation mode. so, when you do eat, even if it's just a tinytiny meal your body will immediately turn the food's calories into fat. and again... you gain weight. not to mention purging causes bingeing (which also leads to gaining weight) and bloating (which really just makes you feel more disgusting than ever).

same goes for laxatives, they don't work. at one point i was taking packs of laxatives a day. all they do is make you feel like shit. litterlly. you only lose water weight, so you gain it right back the next day. they're a complete waste of money.

to lose weight, i'd just continue doing what you're doing. the healthy way is the slowest way to lose weight, but also the only way i've been able to keep the weight off. try drinking lots of water to fill you up instead of egoing crazy on food, and keep yourself as busy as possible so that you won't always be thinking about weight, calories, ect. it's much easier that way.

purging nor laxatives actually work. purging is just awful - ive been doing it for a year (and i wish i could stop) - it ruins your teeth really badly. once you start it's really hard to stop, i think cause they've proven your brain releases endorphins when you purge and you get an indirect 'high' of sorts. and in terms of weight loss, purging simply isnt effective. i feel like an addict all the time - planning my next binge/purge and everything revolves around that so i don't raise suspicion from my friends. so just don't do it.

the only thing that i know of that really works is eating healthy & exercise.
